Imagining the thought of another

tell me what i think
and i think what i will.
i think what you’ve said
but thought in my own way.
you’ve laid a foundation
to which i will rethink.
i live inside a place where
your assumptions are imagined.
doubt my thoughts if you must,
but i know what i’ve thought.
directed to think like oneself
harbors an essence of foreignness.
